Drink prices have been sky rocketing from what I've seen recently in Bangkok. From beers to mixed drinks. Here are a few places I've been to this week.........

 

RCA

280 baht Hoegaarden draft

240 baht 12oz bottle Corona

320 baht redbull vodka

WTF!

 

Soi Cowboy

200 baht beer at Saraha

155 baht beer at Baccara

 

Hollywood

250 baht for 12oz bottle Chang & Fedebrau beer! WTF WTF! (these are local beers, how the hell can they get away selling it at that price?????)

 

Anyone else notice this?

 

WTF is going on here? This is getting ridiculous!

RCA is only worthwhile if you go with a group of friends and share a bottle of liquor.

 

Otherwise RCA is a ripoff in every way.

 

I've been there a few times before, where I give money for a beer/drink, and the waitress girls never come back with my change. This is a VERY common thing at RCA. (It's happened to me at least 3 to 4 times  at Slims and Route 66    )

Happy to say I don't go to any of those type of places anymore. I'm sticking with local Thai pubs, bars, open air usually. Much much cheaper
