Yala Muslim extremists maybe? That's sad :( many body parts, dead people, and injuries.

That is such a busy intersection, probably one of the most busy in the entire city.

It's been lightning and thundering, so not sure if that was a bomb we heard earlier or from the thunder.

Whichever the case, really sad. Anyone that's been to Bangkok has been to Erawan Shrine, or walked by it, or been to those buildings around it like Siam Paragon, Central World, Gaysorn Plaza, etc

This is so sad news.

BKK going to be on super high alert now for sure, wouldn't be surprised if they do something drastic, like shut down city, trains, schools etc

Glad to see they may have an idea who the bomber is. Just have not been able to find him/them yet.

Looks like they have a suspect in custody. Adem Karadeg a Turkish national.

Here's the famous CCTV image wearing his glasses and yellow t-shirt when he was dropping off the bomb backpack....

And here is a clear shot of his ugly mug.......

Supposedly he did this as revenge of some sort.

They arrested a 2nd bombing suspect:

Authorities believe a foreigner arrested Tuesday at the Cambodian border is the yellow-shirted man seen planting the deadly bomb at Bangkok’s Erawan shrine last month
