Kanchanaburi's Wat Pa Luangta Bua Yanasampanno (yes I know that is just a crazy long name, if you think that's long, lookup the true spelling of the city name Bangkok LOL) is the home of many tigers in their "Tiger Temple". Today 5 tigers were taken in what was called "scandal-tainted" and allegations of wildlife trafficking.

I'm sure many of you Thailanders and BKK'ers have been to Sri Racha or Kanchanaburi's famous Tiger Temples and probably taken pictures with those beautiful "big cats", but think about the morality of it please, how are those tigers really able to lay there and be so photogenic with you? One obvious, totally obvious answer, they are all drugged up. Imagine a life of ANYTHING having to live their entire lives like that?

Sad isn't it?

Read more at hte Bangkok post article here.

And for reference, the Kanchanaburi Wat Pa Luangta wiki page is here: https://en.wikipedia...ki/Tiger_Temple
