So recently my Samsung Galaxy S3 was lowbatt and died. Later I charged it and turned it on, it got stuck on this screen:

And I continued charging it, trying to power up, trying many remedies that I found online about how to boot up my phone, and NOTHING worked. I even downloaded that Samsung Kies program and that didn't help.

Took it to Ratchada Fortune Town to try getting it fixed at the Samsung shop, they said it's motherboard was fried, and it would cost 4,900 baht and 3 months to fix (and I would lose all my data).

Went around trying to find and buy a new Samsung S3 but no places had any :(

Ended up getting the S4 (14k baht), it seems nice. But wow what a disappointment on that "motherboard died" wtf! I guess the firmware wasn't updated enough. This forum thread seemed to have the most information about my problem. http://forums.androi...are-update.html

Has anyone ever had this problem before with Android?
