Last night went to this awesome restaurant bar called "Maldives Resort bar". It's in the Meng Jai area in Bangkok. Pretty near to G-Star, Chill Chill and Nathong restaurant. I would highly recommend going there at night, it's got pretty good food, nice big cocktails and never ending flow of beer, they do have Hoegaarden too btw!

Will go again soon and get pics and more information. I was searching the net and there is like NO info out there for Maldives. Weird.

I remember taking a date there once a LONG time ago. They have live music and closed about 2am I think. We both enjoyed Maldives, not sure why I never got a chance to go back there, note to self, go there soon thx for reminder!

Was there last night, damn good food and great Hoegaardens!

 

And of course their famous fountain, with the balls hehe.

FYI some things Maldives has that I've noticed:

 

1. good food

2. beer towers (only Heineken and Singha i think) (no Hoegaarden towers, sorry)

3. pool tables

4. foosball table (in the inside area if you walk in towards the back left)
