My friend is arriving in Bangkok next week and will stay for a month. He is wanting to get Lasik surgery done. Does anyone have any suggestions of places to go?
I had my Lasik done in Bangkok Hospital Pattaya back when they just opened their lasik department, so it was discounted that time, and I got a GREAT DEAL! (I think it was about $1k usd for both eyes). My experience with that was really good, the doctor was really nice, professional, helped me relax, even gave me a squeeze ball during the operation in case I was stressed and could just squeeze that stress ball. My girlfriend's sister had hers done at Top Charoen Eye Center Bangkok. Not sure the price there but she seems satisfied with hers too. Looking at their website though it doesn't appear too farang-friendly as they don't even have an English language option on the site -> http://www.topcharoe.../2014/index.php
Would love to hear any other suggestions or warnings about other lasik places in Thailand.
