Trying to find out the best way to save money on this trip. Should I buy the air fare and hotel together? Or should I just get the air fare and worry about finding a hotel when I get there?

Where exactly are you heading, here to Bangkok, or to elsewhere in Thai? i could have lots of suggestions for you, for cheap hotels here. Thailand really has awesome options and great value for hotels (compared to Philippines, PI has shit! lol )

I've never heard of this one, but i looked it up and damn it's a reminder how awesome hotels you can find in Thailand for great prices. Really, that location is near BTS, near nightlife, and markets, malls, etc, and only $37/$40 per night, really is badass. Good find Boricua!

Thanks. I got the idea from that "36 hours in Bangkok" video. He said to make sure you stayed at a place that was on SUKHUMVIT 3 Thru 11. Those are the best locations to be close to all the cool spots.

I just checked the map of that place on that Agoda link, so it's all the way down at the end of Soi Nana, Sukhumvit Soi 4, pretty good location, nice nightlife in that soi, and even a brand new Hooters just opened up there in Nana too, boobs & wings my man! LOL

So the Hooters finally opened. I had read in a previous post someone complaining about not having a Hooters in Bangkok. Nice that I'll be staying close to it.

Ok cool, it's actually pretty cool app made in Japan. When you arrive you can get setup on an internet data plan... so when you're out and about you'll always be able to contact everyone easily, and FREE with this app (aside from paying the internet data plan, i pay 350 baht per month, that's $10 per month for my internet plan, thats like or 2 gig data and that's all i need, i've never used it all up)

I love how Line fills in your words with a little emoticon image

example, if you type the word "pizza" it'll replace it with a little image of a pizza LOL
