Hi, does anyone know of any good, reliable movers in Bangkok?

Please post any information here.

I am moving from Ratchada location to another place VERY near here, about 5 minutes away in car. I only have stuff for a small 2 bedroom condo.

Thank you

moving@mweb.co.th

Found this email suggested from a Thaivisa user in some thread, it's an invalid email addy so forget trying that one.

These prices are very disappointing, considering my place was only about 1000 baht paid when I first moved here few years ago (I paid 2 guys that I called from a number on a telephone pole)

As of now, I will not pay those prices, and will probably go the "telephone pole" route again hehe.

10k+ baht to move a condo that's no bigger than 55sqm worth of stuff, ridiculous in USA, Europe, or anywhere, especially in SE Asia. Wow.

I moved from my apartment a couple years ago, here in USA and it costed me $125 usd, XE.com puts that at 4000 thai baht. They did a great job too, so that is just straight messed up to be charging that. Are they hiring college graduates with masters degrees to do the job? LOL

Ok guys, letting you know, it really pays to search around (thx to gf) she called the first number we seen on a telephone post, (the number is 0814991122) and 4 guys came over in 2 trucks.

All our stuff fit on the 2 trucks.

Their charge was 300 baht per person (1200 total labor fee), and 700 baht per truck (1400 total truck fee). TOTAL = only 2600 baht!!!! :)

Of course these guys wont gaurantee or pack anything for you. But as you can see will save you lots of money if choose to go with them. I would recommend these guys, they arrived exactly at 9am time we scheduled and they worked hard until the job was done. I gave them all extra 100 baht, wish i had more baht on me would've tipped them more. :)

Good luck to anyone moving! Surely is a pain in the ass!
