A good real estate agent can make all the difference. Do your research. My wife and I will be relocating to Thailand next year so she can teach English in Phuket. A lot of foreigners are purchasing houses, condos and apartments in and around Pattaya, Phuket and Bangkok, but they need to be aware of the potential pitfalls to getting in contact with a local developer and real estate agent/company.
